32240 RTC-322 Satin Ink Train Coating Paste 40 lb.

NO COATING TOWER NEEDED!!! RTC "Ink Train Aqueous Coating" is available in gloss, matte and satin in a thick molasses-type viscosity for running through a press's ink keys. The thick viscosity enables printers to work the coating with an ink knife, while ensuring it won't run through the ink keys. It has no ammonia smell, has a higher gloss for a better appearance on the printed sheet than the earlier ITCs. It is easier to run and dries faster than a tower-coater-applied varnish, and the aesthetics of the coating on the sheet is superior. The coating can be run inline or offline with presses that do not have dryers. Press must have a spray powder attachment and normal drying time is one hour. Coating is run with the dampening system not engaged. Spot coating is done by undercutting the blanket packing or using a spot coating blanket that is available.
